CCS
GassTEK works with the whole CO2 chain, and performs research within specific areas associated with CCS.
- We perform research related work on the post-combustion amine process.
- We perform possibility studies for the whole CO2 chain, with special focus on capture and transport.
- We perform selection of optimal technological solutions and early phase cost estimations for both power consuming and power producing industries.
Implementation of CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) will be a deciding factor for whether Norway and the rest of the world can meet their obligations to reduce CO2 emissions.
CCS consists of CO2 capture, transport and permanent storage, an illustration of the chain is shown below.
