Pressure is needed to keep CO2 in liquid state, pressure higher than 14 bar and an equilibrium temperature of -30 to -25 °C.
At the triple point, -56.6 °C and 4.17 baro, CO2 goes from a liquid phase to a solid phase.
Above the critical point, 31°C and 73 baro. CO2 has the density of a fluid, but the compressibility of a gas. The density lies between 600 - 700 kg/m3.
