Electrostatics and magnetics projects

  • A master degree research project was carried out with the aim of evaluating equipment for measuring how easily powders of different quality will be charged when they are handled. The task was carried out for Hydro Aluminium that evaluates doing this test as a control routine when new qualities of alumina are shipped in to the smelting plants.
  • A PhD research project with the purpose of testing new ways of measuring online electrostatic charging under pneumatic conveying is now in its final year.
  • Magnetic susceptibility of drilling fluids with magnetic particulate solids
  • Reliable Bulk Transport on Offshore Oil Rigs
