An overview over the facilities and equipment used for mixing at POSTEC:

• Shear mixers: Custom homogenisers; Ide-Con continuous mixer with measurement stand (1-5 t/h); Ide-Con batch mixer (20 l); Forberg batch mixer (20 l)
• A fluidising bed mixer: with a mechanism of convective of mixing. It is also used for investigation of reactions, coating and drying etc.
• A rotating cylinder / tumbling mixer with the main mechanism of diffusive mixing
• Flow aid device during silo discharge to promote mixing
• Hopper mixing
