Some of the recent projects in this area:

• Aeration for silo discharge, “Silo flow using air”;
• Storage and homogenizing unit: Multi-chamber silo for homogenization
• Application of inserts: investigations of inserts’ effects on both flow and loads pattern in a full scale axi-symmetrical silo
• Prediction of flow: the in-house software developed in collaboration with other institutes is expected to model the discharge flow pattern of free-flow solids from silos.
• CRYPOW, a co-operation project with NTNU and SINTEF aimed at producing crystals giving powders with desired flow properties
